Where to stay in Alcudia: The 7 Best hotels in Alcudia to suit every budget
We have visited Mallorca several times in recent years and have stayed in multiple parts of the island during our trips.
When we go anywhere, deciding where to stay comes down a few key things; whether we want a relaxed, beachfront feel rather than adventure based; access to a nice promenade/main square to sit out in the evenings and these days, how flat it is for pushing a pram around.
Last year after a lot of to’ing and fro’ing we ultimately decided to stay in Alcudia. Alcudia has a great blend of the old and new, a beautiful port area, old Town and some of the islands best beaches, particularly for families.
In terms of where to stay in Alcudia, the main options are to stay down near the port, where you will find the widest range of bars and restaurants or you can go further down Playa Alcudia/Play Muro direction where you will find some of the better All Inclusive options.
For a more relaxed feel, we would suggest staying in the Old Town, where you can enjoy the cobbled streets and medieval feel.
Ultimately where you choose to stay in Alcudia will come down to the type of holiday you were looking for, a family oriented all inclusive with easy beach access, a luxury option or a nice relaxed aesthetic feel to your holiday.

Grupotel Parc Natural & Spa
Grupotel Parc Natural & Spa is definitely the stand out luxury hotel in Alcudia. This 5* hotel is set right on the S’Albufera Nature Reserve; just a few minutes away from Playa Muro and has every facility you can think of for a memorable luxury stay in Alcudia.
It is slightly further down the coast than the main part of Alcudia, sitting between Port D’Alcudia and Can Picafort but it is still the stand out choice when it comes to a luxury stay in this area.
The buses also run frequently along this route and stop right outside the door so you will be able to enjoy Port D’Alcudia and Alcudia Old Town quite easily.
The hotel itself has swimming indoor and outdoor pools, spa facilities including a Turkish bath, fitness centre, a great restaurant and beautifully styled rooms.
This is also a great luxury hotel that could easily fit into the ‘family friendly’ category, with great entertainment available on site for kids as well.

Iberostar Selection Playa de Muro Village
We are big fans of the Iberostar hotels and this is definitely one of their best options anywhere in Mallorca.
Very similar to the previous recommendation, Iberostar is a great option for families, with a great kids club program and lots of facilities to make for a memorable family stay.
Again, like Grupotel, Iberostar is set right on Playa Muro and the S’Albufera Nature reserve so there is also plenty of things to do right on your doorstep.
There is a huge range of facilities available at the hotel including spa, gym, swimming pools and indoor/outdoor play areas for children.

Bordoy Alcudia Port Suites – Adults Only
While the first two recommendations were very family oriented, our final suggestion is for an ‘Adults Only’ hotel. Bordoy Alcudia Port Suites is also located in the Port area of Alcudia, rather than further down towards Playa Muro, so you have easier access to the area’s nightlife, as well as the Old town.
This hotel has much more of a clean, minimalist aesthetic and it is perfect for a romantic couples getaway on a special occasion. It is perfect for anyone who prefers the more intimate and personalised feel of a boutique hotel.
The hotel has a beautiful terrace area with loungers that has a very private feel to it and a relaxing spa area where you can enjoy the sauna and hot tub.
All of Alcudia’s main attractions are within walking distance, even the Old Town so you are right in the heart of the action here.

Best family friendly Hotels in Alcudia
Choosing a great family friendly hotel can be stressful at times. There are so many additional factors to take into consideration like kids clubs, entertainment, the onsite food, facilities like swimming pools, travel cots and extra equipment for babies and easy access to the surrounding area.
Luckily, we have gone through that experience several times so we know what to look for when choosing a hotel, quite often it comes down to one word, convenience.
How convenient will everything be so any of the added stresses of travelling with kids are already taken care of by the hotel.
We have chosen the hotels below with exactly that thought process so you can just enjoy your stay.

Iberostar Selection Albufera Park All Inclusive
Our favourite family friendly hotel in Alcudia is definitely the Iberostar Selection Albufera Park All Inclusive
This hotel is set right on Playa Muro beach, which is one of our favourite beaches on the island. This beach is perfect for families in particular as the water stays shallow for several metres making it quite safe.
There is so much to do at this hotel, with padel, tennis courts, gym and spa facilities, as well as 7 swimming pools and 10 restaurants across the two linked hotels.
The pools have lots of play areas for kids including slides and activities throughout the resort.
The hotel is beautifully styled, clean and has a great food offering, meaning you really never have to leave the hotel if you don’t want, though we would least recommend venturing to the beach.

Innside by Melia
We chose to stay at Innside by Melia on our last visit to Alcudia. The Melia hotels don’t carry the luxury price tag but often come with Bali beds at the pool, complimentary drinks added to your mini bar and a great breakfast option.
This hotel is great for families with a kids club and play area, they have themed nights etc. as well and a great pool area as well.
The breakfast buffet here is huge with literally everything you can think of on offer. You can have eggs/omelettes of your choice made in front of you, as well as pancakes for kids.
They have fresh pastries, fruits, yoghurts, nuts, breads and loads more all being made fresh so you are really spoiled for choice at breakfast time.
The rooms are spacious and clean, with balconies available, as well as travel cots etc if you are visiting with young children. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff are really friendly throughout.
This hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the beach as well so it is a great option for families looking for a convenient stay.

Zafiro Palace Alcudia
Our final family friendly hotel recommendation in Alcudia would be the Zafiro Palace hotel. This one is set in the Port area and is a little bit unique in that it has designated Adults Only areas, as well as having child friendly play areas as well.
The Adults Only area provides free access to a chill pool and spa facilities, while the children’s area has Wet Bubble pool, a pool with a pirate ship, mini club, and entertainment staff, so you really can enjoy the best of both worlds here.
This hotel is also great for anyone going on an athletic style holiday, with a triathlon training pool available, as well as bike storage units and a bike shop, perfect for anyone training for a big event or on a cycling trip etc.
Some rooms also come with kitchenette facilities, which is particularly useful if you are visiting with babies etc. and need to prepare their food during your stay.
Overall, a great option for easy access to the Port area and the facilities to keep the kids and adults and entertained throughout the holiday.

Budget Friendly Hotels in Alcudia
While it is possible to stay in Alcudia on a budget, we have found hotels in Mallorca to be more expensive than some other European destinations by comparison.
With that, if you do want to visit Alcudia on a budget, we would recommend going in off peak months like March/April in the Spring or October/November in Autumn/Winter.
Timing is everything for European stays and the big thing with Alcudia is that although the crowds get smaller off peak, the weather is still quite good so you won’t feel like you have missed out by going during these months.

Alcudia Garden Aparthotel
Our first budget friendly option in Alcudia is the Alcudia Garden Aparthotel. You can get a souble room at this hotel for as little as €50 (2026 prices) per night which is incredible value.
The hotel has really positive guest reviews and is less than 100m from Alcudia beach so you can walk straight out of the hotel and on to a sun lounger for the day.
This hotel also has a sauna, hot tub, several swimming pools and loads of family friendly activities like table tennis, archery and there is a fitness centre on site as well.
Considering the price, there are very few hotels offering anywhere near the number of facilities available here.
For a hotel on a budget within walking distance of the Port and easy access to all the facilities you need, it is hard to look beyond Alcudia Garden Aparthotel.
